Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for paid Phoneless subscriptions. It is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
1. Subscriptions & renewal
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and automatically renew each billing cycle until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize Phoneless (through our payment processor, Square) to charge your payment method on each renewal date.
2. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the Billing section of your account, or by emailing help@smartcallcenters.com. When you cancel, your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period, and it will not renew again. You keep access until the period ends.
3. Refunds
Because subscriptions provide immediate, ongoing access, payments are generally non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods or for periods during which you did not use the Service. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will review it in good faith. We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit in individual cases.
4. Free plan & add-ons
The Free plan is provided at no charge and can be used without payment. Paid add-ons (such as additional numbers or sub-accounts, where offered) follow this same policy unless stated otherwise at purchase.
5. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and may suspend or downgrade your account until payment succeeds. You remain responsible for amounts owed for the period during which the Service was available to you.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we’re happy to help. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension or termination of your account under our Terms of Service.
